Dream 11I was in a church with a bunch of people that were all goody two shoe zombies. Only one person was normal, she had blonde hair. The leader was her mom, who was tall and had black hair.
I kept on shaking and twitching in my seat, like I was ready to snap. At a point I feel a bug in my hair so the blonde girl notices and tells her mother. The mother rolls her eyes and tells someone to help me. A guy helps and it turns out there was a bunch of bugs in my hair, all dead.
After its over, I leave and never come back. I go into hiding in the place, which is the same church, with dark secrets. The mom puts up a wanted sign for me, cause it turns out I have superpowers and, even though I have helped people, she believes I have/can kill people. The blonde wants to find me and meets up with a random girl and guy. They tell her they can show her where I have been hiding. Abandoned ChapelThe parish waits now,
the loneliness of corners
crawling outward on walls--
chipped away by the wind,
and held together
by silk spindles;
cobwebs align them like the membranes of memories,
the cut of a jewel in an broken window
against the sun
where beads of rain
gather in a mesh of strands
a new Mosaic
against the backdrop of a cemetery;
My eyes seek out the sermon
in close proximity,
paint no distance
between headstone and cloud;
elegies topple each other
in their climb to heaven
as light trickles
over the shade,
breathes a new glow over snuffed candles.
I feel the weight in these empty rows,
how a breath couldn't cease to be breath
in the midst of prayer.
